kcalThis amazing recipe for keto yeast bread makes ketogenic bread that is very close to regular bread and really low in carbs (only 2.2 g per slice).
Ingredients
1/2 cup of Oat Fiber (41g)
2/3 cup of Flaxseed Meal (70g)
1 1/4 cups of Vital Wheat Gluten (190g)
1 tsp Salt (6g)
0-4 tbsp powdered Sweetener (0 – 60g)
1/2 tsp Xanthan Gum (2.5g)
1 cup water (240ml)
1 tbsp instant yeast (8g)
1 tsp Honey (7g)
2 Eggs (lightly beaten)
2 tbsp softened Butter (30g)
Directions
- Preparing the Dough
- In a mixing bowl, add all the dry ingredients except the yeast. (01:57-02:00)
- In a separate bowl, add the yeast to the water. Stir to fully mix in the yeast. (03:35-03:40)
- Add 1 tsp of honey to the yeast and water mixture. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved. (05:00-05:04)
- In a stand mixer, add the yeast, honey, and water mixture, two lightly beaten eggs, and the butter. (05:26-05:31)
- Add the dry ingredients to the stand mixer. Mix until the ingredients are fully combined. (05:47-05:51)
- Knead the dough using the kneading hook of the stand mixer for about 7 minutes. (06:58-07:02)
- Baking the Bread
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. (12:24-12:26)
- Place the dough in a bread tin and cover it with plastic wrap. (10:10-10:14)
- Let the dough rise in a warm and humid environment (like a microwave with a bowl of hot water) for about 2 hours. (11:12-11:15)
- Remove the plastic wrap and bake the dough in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. (13:04-13:06)
- Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool before slicing. (14:26-14:28)

- Please note that this recipe uses a stand mixer for kneading the dough. If you do not have a stand mixer, you can knead the dough by hand, but it will take significantly longer. If you have a bread machine, it is recommended to use that instead as it simplifies the process.
